Performed by NOLANoir Productions Inspired by the classic detective dramas of yesteryear, The Adventures of Gerard Dupris is an original audio podcast following the case files of private eye Gerard Dupris, as backdropped by the vibrant city and culture of New Orleans during the golden age of radio (late 1940s/early 1950s). The NOLANoir Players cordially invite you to "see the world through the piercing gray eyes of the sleuth of old New Orleans!" PRODUCTION HISTORY Drawing inspiration from literary and cinematic pulp fiction writers, Dupris was first developed as a private reading in college, employing production methodology acquired from involvement with a pre-existing live weekly radio drama on campus. Online podcast form ultimately proved to be the most effective and rewarding media method. The pilot season aired 2010-2011.
